about noble ink

Training methodology

Research undertaken by Noble Ink has shown that UK PR practitioners are generally aware of the benefits of e-learning - and of its supposed drawbacks.  The availability of e-learning packages specifically for public relations skills and development, however, is very limited.

Noble Ink believes that e-learning needs to be placed in a broader, professional development, context. As with many technology-based innovations, e-learning was over-hyped in its early stages. It is not simply a question of slashing budgets by transferring chunks of training on to the web. E-learning usually works best when ‘blended’ with traditional forms of delivery.

Noble Ink's e-learning philosophy has three characteristics.

  • Coaching/mentoring support is offered with all packages.
  • Packages are compatible with complementary ‘classroom’ style courses.
  • A workbook approach allows delegates to return to the course to refresh knowledge and skills at a later date.
